The Tail Of Emily Windsnap by Liz Kessler
okay. This is it. You mau of guessed by now, or you might not. it doesn't matter. All that matters that you promise never to tell anyone:
I had become a mermaid.
When Emily Windsnap signs up for swimming lessons, she has no idea what she is getting herself into. she lives on a boat, The King Of The Sea, yet
she had never been totally submersed in water. Until the day of her first swimming lesson. She knew something happened in there, in the school pool, something strange.
And I didn't have a clue what it was, but I knew one thing for sure- you wouldn't get me back in that pool for a million dollars.
And, besides that suprising secret, she has to figure out who exactly the light house keeper, Mr. Beeston is, and what he has to do with the mermaid king, and, in the midst of all this,
where does her father, who dissapered a few days after she was born, where does he fit? with the help of her new mermaid friend, Shona, she will find out the answers to all of these questions.
But remember, it's just between you and me!
I really liked this book a lot. Emily, the main character, was likable, and so is Shona. the mean girl is suitably mean, and I like how Liz Kessler created the mermaid world. I would give this book four and 1/2 stars.
